The 35th Bali art festival will be held on June 15-July 13, 2013, to coincide with the school holidays. The theme of the parade and opening ceremony will be “Taksu- Generating Creative Power and Identity”. The theme is deliberately adopted to encourage the artists or those who have the expertise to further develop the art of creativity, but it can not be separated from the character of individual Balinese”.
For the 35th year of Bali Art Festival, is aims to be as much about preserving Balinese artists traditions as attracting tourists. In particular, the country’s rich dance heritage is always celebrated, so there will be perfomances of legong, gambuh, kecak, barong, baris and mask dances.
